Dr. Candyce Westmoreland is a board-certified family medicine physician with a passion for providing comprehensive, patient-centered care. A Plano, Texas native, she earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin before completing medical school at Ross University. She went on to complete her residency training at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Family Medicine Residency Program in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Dr. Westmoreland believes in practicing evidence-based medicine while recognizing the unique needs and nuances of every individual. She values educating and empowering patients to take an active role in their healthcare decisions, ensuring that treatment plans are tailored to each person’s lifestyle and goals.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Westmoreland enjoys spending time with her pets—her German Shepherd, Jake, and her two cats, Hunter and Riley. She also loves true crime shows, reading murder mysteries, college football, relaxing by the pool, trying new restaurants, and traveling, especially on cruises.
