Liz Lindsey, DNP, APRN, FNP-C
Family Nurse Practitioner
Dr. Lindsey is board certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and has been since 2012. Dr. Lindsey is native to Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. Her father was a minister who came to the United States in 2000 as a missionary looking to spread the Christian gospel to Hispanic populations living in the U.S. The oldest of four siblings, Dr. Lindsey, has had a heart for serving others since she was young and continues to do so through her career and several roles in healthcare.
Having lived in Guatemala for the first fifteen years of her life, Dr. Lindsey worked hard to adjust to the culture in America. Her talent and strong work ethic paid dividends when she graduated high school in May of 2003 and was recognized as a Meyers-LeCroy Scholarship recipient; a Scholarship that recognizes exemplary leadership in education and in the community.
Dr. Lindsey attended El Centro College and graduated in 2006 with her associate degree in nursing. She then continued her education and received her bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2009, her master’s degree in nursing in 2012, and her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2018, all of which she received from Texas Woman’s University.
Other than being a provider, Dr. Lindsey has served as Clinic Manager, Chief Medical Officer and Chief Operating Officer. She has also served as an adjunct professor teaching clinicals at the Louise Herrington Baylor School of Nursing in Dallas. Above all, Dr. Lindsey’s passion is to help patients lead happier and healthier lives.
When she is not helping others, you can find Dr. Lindsey spending time with her husband and daughter, at her church and traveling.
